RESORT POLICIES

Welcome to Magnolia Streamside Resort, a place for your mind, body and soul. It is a perfect destination for your family and friend get-togethers, romantic getaways or solo escapes to a picturesque land of relaxation and tranquility. We hope you will enjoy our cozy cottages and beautiful grounds. However, while staying with us, we ask that you respect and follow our policies. We reserve the right to immediately evict any guest or group whose behavior, in our sole discretion, creates a disturbance; no refunds of rent will be made.

Reservation Policy

Magnolia Streamside Resort requires 2-night minimum for weekend reservations and 3-night minimum for major holiday reservations. You must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation. Un-refundable deposit of $100 per unit is required to reserve a cottage/suite. This deposit may be made over the phone or in person using a major debit/credit card or cash. When paying with cash, a valid credit card will still be required. Your balance, including 6% PA tax and 3% County Room Tax is due 7 days prior to check-in and will be charged to the credit card on file unless a different card is provided in advance. 1-night stays must be paid in full at the time of reservation.

Special Rate Offers

The rate you are quoted upon booking is the rate you will be charged upon check-in, regardless of any special offers or discounted rates that may be advertised after booking. If you cancel an existing reservation, it is not considered a new reservation if booked for the same time and/or accommodation. Cancellation policies apply.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel for any reason, all payments made are not refundable. If we are notified of your cancellation at least 7 days prior to your check-in day, your payments may be transferred to a new reservation for a future stay. Otherwise, all payments will be forfeited.  If you fail to check-in by noon, the day after your scheduled check-in (without notifying our office) the balance of your stay will not be available and your payments will be forfeited. Payment transfers must be used within one year of original date of first payment and may not be transferred to another accommodation at the same time of cancelled reservation. Group reservation restrictions apply.

Check In/Out Information

Check-in time is after 4:00 pm, check-out time is by 11:00 am. Accommodations and Resort grounds are not available to you or your guests before or after those times. Early check-ins and late check-outs are available for an additional fee upon request and availability. In order to properly prepare each unit and resort amenities for our next guest, it is imperative you check-out by your scheduled time. If you do not depart by your scheduled check-out time and don’t extend your stay with Guest Services, a late check-out fee of $100 per hour will be charged to your credit card.

Guests, Visitors and Their Vehicles

When checking in, please be sure to register the correct number of vehicles, guests and visitors, obtain car passes and properly display them in all vehicles. For security purposes, staff members periodically tour the premises and verify number of cars, guests and visitors registered with the office. There is an unauthorized visitor’s fee of $100 per car. Please respect the Daytime Visitor and Cottage Guest Capacity Policies to avoid this and other charges to your account.

DAYTIME VISITORS must be registered with Guest Services, a car pass secured and properly displayed prior to entering the grounds.  To maintain the peaceful enjoyment of Magnolia Streamside Resort for all guests, daytime visitors are limited to one car per day per accommodation, maximum of 4 visitors. Daytime visiting hours are from 9:00AM to 9:00PM. The overnight visitor’s fee will be charged for visitors remaining on the property after 9:00PM.

Cottage Guest Capacity

Magnolia Streamside Resort strictly enforces Maximum Guest Capacity for each cottage. There will be $100 per person charge applied to credit card on file for any unregistered and/or Daytime Visitors staying overnight in the cottages.

Events and Group Gatherings

If you wish to host an event or gathering, such as a cocktail party or barbecue, let us help you plan. The approval of your plans from the Resort is required.  Please be sure the plans you are making are in accordance with Resort Policies prior to booking your reservation. 

Resort Quiet Hours

Monday through Sunday – 9PM to 8AM Please respect your neighbors.  Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any hour.  If the Resort is alerted to disturbances or disruptions created by you and/or your guests, we reserve the right to immediately evict you and/or your guests without refund. In consideration of all resort guests, the playing of outdoor music is not permitted. All music must be contained within your cottage.

No Smoking/Drug Policy

All buildings on the property of Magnolia Streamside Resort are NO SMOKING areas. Smoking is limited to outside areas only.  Ashtrays for guests are provided directly outside each cottage.  Failure to observe the no smoking policy in Resort buildings will result in a $350 charge to the customer’s on-file credit card. Magnolia Streamside Resort is a DRUG FREE ZONE.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

Fireworks

Personal fireworks are not permitted on the grounds of MSR. Should you or anyone in your party violate the NO FIREWORKS policy, a $350 fee will automatically be charged to your on-file credit card.  Magnolia Streamside Resort reserves the right to charge any damages incurred to this credit card as well.  A second violation of the NO FIREWORKS policy will result in your eviction from the resort.

Indoor Fireplaces and Outdoor Fire Pits

Firewood is available for sale at the office.  

Security/Damages

Unit should be vacated “broom clean,” kitchen tidy, damage free and all accommodation contents (including towels and linen) accounted for. We realize accidents happen and breakage occurs. You are required to report accidental damage to us prior to check-out. If pre-existing damage is noticed, it must be reported within 2-hours of check-in. Your credit card will be charged, within 10 business days of your departure, for any excessive cleaning, missing items, and/or damages to the premise or furnishings, which occur during your occupancy, excluding normal wear and tear.

Fees will automatically be charged to the accommodation credit card on file if the following is required: site or accommodation extra cleanup/maintenance, repair or replacement of property, damage, septic capacity overage due to exceeding standard accommodation occupancy. Septic overage charge – $375 min per system, Hourly maintenance fees – $50/hr.

In an event of significant cleaning requirements due to actions that compromise the cleanliness of our accommodations, including but not limited to vomiting, a specialized cleaning and disinfection fee of $350 will be charged to the credit card on file.

Self-Service Accommodations

Our accommodations are designed for a self-service experience, allowing you to enjoy privacy and flexibility during your stay. We trust that you will find everything you need for your comfort within your well-equipped room. Should you require fresh towels or refill of toiletries during your stay, please contact the front desk, and our team will be happy to assist you

Recycling/Trash

All guests are required to take out their garbage to the dumpster located in the parking lot. Failure to do so will result in $100 fee charge to the credit card on file.

Pets – Dogs ONLY

Dogs are permitted in all cottages and suites EXCEPT Garden Cottage. You must notify Guest Services at the time the reservation is made. $75 Pet fee will be added to your reservation total. Pet owners must pick up after their pets on the resort grounds. Failure to do so will result in $100 fee charged to the credit card on file. Any guest in violation of this policy will be immediately be evicted, without refund, and will be charged a special cleaning fee (minimum $350) without notice. 

PLEASE NOTE:  Magnolia Streamside Resort acknowledges service animals in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.  Service animals are working animals, not pets. “Pets, whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA” and are not permitted at Magnolia Streamside Resort.  For more information on compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, please refer to ada.gov.

Pool

Outdoor pool is not heated and is open daily 9:00AM until DUSK (June-September). There is no lifeguard on duty. Guests swim at their own risk. Children must be under adult supervision at all times. No food or drinks allowed at the pool area.

Fishing

Fishing is permitted in the Goose Pond Run stream and our private pond, which is stocked with trout and located on the Resort grounds. Stream Fishing: free of charge, PA fishing license is required. Pond Fishing: your own rod – $15/day; our rod – $25/day; no PA fishing license required. Fishing hours are from dawn to dusk, April through November, weather permitting.

Lost and Found

If you forget something, call our office as soon as possible. We will make every effort to find the lost item(s) and it will be returned COD plus a $10 packaging fee. However, we cannot be responsible for items left behind.  If unclaimed within thirty days, the items are donated to a local charity. Due to storage limitations, items will not be kept until your next visit.

Terms and Conditions

This property is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Magnolia Streamside Resort is not responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for the loss of money or valuables of any kind. Should the accommodation you reserved become unavailable, for any reason, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable accommodation without notice. Refunds will not be made for loss of power, inclement weather, acts of God (including but not limited to) hurricanes, floods, snow and ice storms, earthquakes, tornados, fires, etc. All policies and guidelines are subject to change.
